Our “Sailer” is located in the centre of Obertauern in the first row of hotels opposite the “Gamsleiten” lift, access point to the Tauern circuit. Guaranteed snow at an altitude of 1,740 m, winter fun from the end of November and sunshine skiing until the 1st of May.

In Obertauern both “young and old” enjoy going to school – ski school. Obertauern is a kids’ paradise – ski kindergarten with full day child care – as well as lessons for the “bigger” beginners and intermediates.

“Sailer’s”-Tauern ski safari Every week we offer a fun, guided Tauern ski safari with your host Rudi and ski instructor Kurt. Refreshment stops can also be practised and there’s a schnapps to finish at the „Sailer“.

Cross country skiing: Several ski schools offer cross country skiing lessons for children, beginners and intermediates.

Après ski & nightlife: Round off a great day’s skiing or make new friends in one of the many bars, cosy inns or trendy discos.
